Have you ever heard of the Book of Virtues by former Secretary of Education, William Bennett? It was published in 1993, but is on its way to becoming a classic, probably because it is made up of classics. "A Treasury of Great Moral Stories," the Book of Virtues contains stories written centuries ago, from Biblical stories to political speeches and many stories from literature.
Today's free educational find isn't the Book of Virtues. You'll have to buy that one (click on the book above). Today's freebie is a 992 page (!) ebook on the Book of Virtues that contains a daily schedule and many worksheets. The Book of Virtues Project is for those who would like to learn from the book as a unit study or lapbook project. Here are a few screenshots from the book:
