The Old Schoolhouse magazine is hosting a Schoolhouse Expo event on March 5th. Normally, they sell registrations to expo events (and normally, they sell out), but they have decided to now offer the expos for FREE.
Here is their info about an upcoming Geography Expo that is limited to 1,000 live attendees:
March 5th, 6-9:30pm EST
Come and join us for a free Schoolhouse Expo event! We will have great speakers, door prizes, and more! Andy Harris, the Tech Homeschooler, will share about how to use Google Earth in homeschooing. Prepare for a lesson in geography that you've never thought could be so interesting. If your kids like computers, technology, and Google Earth, sign up.
Jay Ryan, Classical Astronomy, will share about studying the night sky. Come hear Jay talk about the night sky and what to look for during the month of March with your kids.
Registration is limited to 1000 live attendees.
To pre-register for the free geography event, fill out this name/email form. Registering does not guarantee you a seat, so show up a bit early on March 5th (6pm EST) to grab one of 1,000 available live 'seats.'
