Free Multiplication & Division Learning Games

Timez Attack is the most popular multiplication learning game we have highlighted on FreelyEducate.com.  With it, your students will master the multiplication tables (and now division, too!) in record time, and they will not whine about it!  Impossible, right?  I thought so, until I witnessed how quickly our 10yo learned his tables while playing the game even outside of "math time."

The creators of Timez Attack have a background in PlayStation video game designing.  You can view a video of the game at the Timez Attack site (the video that explains it the best, to me, is the "Video Tour" at the top menu bar).

The difference between the free and paid versions is that your child will only be able to go through one area in the free version, meaning, he'll do all his learning - all 2-12 multiplication facts - in one theme, the "dungeon" level (it's not scary).  If you purchased the other levels, your student could learn the same material while roaming in other interesting areas like "machines," or "rock tower."

A year after first discovering it, our 8yo still visits ABCmouse.com nearly every day.  Although she could choose from many sites to visit during her computer time, she most often chooses ABCmouse.com, where she keeps busy with the over 2,000 activities for over 350 lesson plans.

The activities include games, puzzles, book reading, a zoo to visit, and much more.  Your child won't realize that he/she is learning so much, but you will, since the site keeps track for you. 

The comprehensive curriculum includes these preschool, pre-k and kindergarten subjects:

Economics: Warren Buffet's Secret Millionaires Club for Kids

Warren Buffet, one of the most successful investors in the world, has joined with AOL Kids to create a website for children called Secret Millionaires Club.  The economics-based site has a weekly video episode, cartoon-like, for your students to view.  Your students may also play finance-related games, or create a practice stock portfolio.

Free Science Curriculum for K-12 and College

At My Science Box, you will find science curriculum in many areas of science for grades k-12 and also for college students.  My Science box has "complete, scaffolded lesson plans to teach a 4-6 week science unit through activities, projects, and field trips."  The curriculum includes full lesson plans including graphics and experiments.
